Summary: The hotel is in a great spot, far enough away from Lucca to feel you're in the countryside, but still easy to get into town. There's a lovely Bar-Pasticceria a short walk away, and you can go for quite long walk in the grounds then up into the hills. Breakfast was very good. And the staff were helpful. They do have events at the hotel, but the rooms have good sound insulation, so I still slept very well.
