Positive: The view was peaceful, surrounding grounds well taken care of and a nearby hiking track was a plus.

Negative: The welcome was semi unprofessional. Reception was perplexed about our arrival with 2 dogs even though we notified at time of booking. Instead of a calm solution she went on about it for a few minutes. Did not notify us the rules about dog waste around property on check in. We searched property for a dog waste bin and did not find any so just left outside our room door. The next day we were rudely told off by reception that she removed the dog waste bags and we need to keep the dog waste bags in our balcony because it is not nice for other guests to see this. If you are a dog friendly place why don’t you have a dog waste bin for guests? The bed is super uncomfortable. Breakfast was poor and the extremely hard boiled egg served was a shame. No lunch, dinner or drinks on site beside a bottle of highly priced 26€ bottle of sparkling wine in minibar.

Summary: For the price point, this is an unwelcoming place. Don’t waste your money.
