Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Beautiful apartment with spectacular views of the beach and sea. Good communication from the host, and a welcome basket was a nice touch. The coffee machine was exceptional (now we will have to buy one for ourselves!). Other people in the apartment block seemed friendly (not always the case, unfortunately!)

Negative: There was a lot of work going on in the building during our stay (we were told about this AFTER we booked and paid the deposit). They were changing the windows in the apartment above us and drilling and angle grinding meaning the balcony was not usable for most of Monday (the only sunny day) due to the noise and dust. After we left the owners claimed we had damaged their carpet, which we had not (we were careful not to wear outdoor shoes inside the apartment). The wifi didn't work.
