Summary: One night stay to put me in the right position for onward travel, perfect for that being so conveniently located opposite the train station. Had an early start so didn't have breakfast, but did enjoy a nice evening meal of steak pie and chips, with a great view from the restaurant. Struggled a bit to get my room at the right temperature and didn't sleep brilliantly, but I don't think that was the fault of the hotel, rather my travel plans meant a 6am train and I was focussed too much on when I needed to get up. Pleasant and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. I shall certainly be coming back to spend a bit longer and explore the beach and some of the other villages along the railway line.
