Positive: I gotta say, I've seen some comments that really don't match what my husband and I experienced during our stay in Lio. First off, the staff – they made our stay feel like home (Dan, Mica, Cris, Jonathan... and so many others) – they were so kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The rooms are huge and so spacious you could practically live in them. Yeah, there's no TV, but who goes to El Nido to watch TV? Plus, we got tons of freebies in our room, from snacks to wet bags for the beach and a bottle of wine with a gorgeous welcome dessert. The breakfast is nice, basic, but tasty and complete. The pool is a bit small, but honestly, we only used it once in our 5-day stay. You're a 2-minute walk to Lio beach and restaurants. The hourly free shuttle to and from El Nido is amazing. We even used their brother hotel's facilities in Nacpan beach, free of charge. Honestly, I'd totally recommend it.
