Positive: Stunningly designed property which was beautifully appointed and comfortably furnished. It could’ve looked stark but the walls and surfaces had many interesting and eclectic artefacts making it feel lived in. So much space to store stuff (the annex next to the kitchen made a great bar area!) and every conceivable piece of equipment you could possibly need. The sound system and huge TV were awesome. Of particular delight, and which gave much amusement, was the huge interactive talking Ai fridge! Was great to have so many big bedrooms with en-suites and stunning views, and a big family bathroom for a group our size (12) (the family bathroom doesn’t appear on the floor plans but it is huge and sits next to the bedroom without an ensuite) We appreciated the nice touch of some welcome gifts, plenty of coffee pods, tea etc and fresh milk. The house was at the top of Beer just a nice walk down into the pretty village with its quaint assortment of shops and pubs. The sporty ones amongst us enjoyed the proximity to the beach for swimming and walking/running along the coast path, and even the Park Run in Seaton a short drive away. When we needed to contact the property management/owner they were quick to respond and take action.

Negative: These are minor comments ….. the heating controls seemed to have a mind of their own; more mugs and cutlery would be nice so there is no need to hand wash items between courses during a meal.
