Positive: Outstanding location in the heart of Altstadt! One of the oldest streets and oldest cafes in Heidelberg. Steps away from “The Old Bridge” and many wonderful restaurants and nightclubs. A short walk to Heidelberg Castle lift. Amazing staff and incredibly friendly! Room for a small group to stay and entertain. Kitchen provides the opportunity to shop locally and make meals when needed. Dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove/oven. There is a washing machine in the bathroom! No dryer, but hanging clothes while out and about does a fine job.

Negative: This part of town does not offer the best internet due to the ancient streets being protected from being dug up. However the free Wi-Fi was enough to get work done. Besides, if you are staying in while in Heidelberg, then what are you doing in Heidelberg! Shower is a bit cramped, but this is minor for the value of staying in the heart of old town on lower street.

Summary: Stay where the anonymous lovers embraced for a kiss and leave with memories that cannot be bought!
