Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Comfortable, spacious, clean, plenty of hot water. Well equipped kitchen, plates cutlery etc. Plenty of storage space throughout. Excellent location for exploring Lyon, close to Bellecour and Vieux Lyon. Plenty of restaurants & cafes close by, particularly bouchons. Adequately served by a number of supermarkets as well as specialty shops such as charcuteries, fromarges and wine. Agents - Team Dify were very communicative, helpful and responsive.

Negative: Minor things really. Kitchen tap needs securing to the sink as it hangs loose only held by the flexible water pipes. Lyon is usually hot in summer and with no aircon you need fans, but 2 or 3 were broken. Floor of the shower in one of the bathrooms was like a skating rink when wet - big slip hazard especially for older people. Access door into the apartment block was broken during our stay creating a security risk, although the door entry from the street was secure. Cooking smells from the dog food shop next door pervaded the apartment on occasions!

Summary: Very comfortable and spacious 3 bed apartment in a nice central location.
