Summary: Unique urban concept at Hotel Otto with amazing food! I recently stayed at Hotel Otto, which is a very interesting "micro-resort" concept using converted shipping containers. It has a great urban energy and is in a fantastic location right near the Trinity River walking paths. Being pet-friendly was a huge plus for enjoying the trails, and the ample parking made arrival very easy. The food was definitely the highlight of the stay—everything we tried was awesome. I did find that the urban setting and the container design meant the roadway noise was quite noticeable. I personally prefer a bit more quiet for a night's rest, but I found that using a fan noise app on my phone was a helpful workaround to drown out the traffic. While I’m glad I experienced the unique design and the great restaurant, I realized that I tend to prefer a more traditional hotel setup for comfort. It’s a cool spot for a visit, especially if you love being near the river trails and the city vibe!
