Brandscheid is located close to the border with Belgium and Luxembourg. This part of the Eifel is also known as the Schneifel. You can expect snow here in winter. The highest mountain in the Eifel, the Black Man (675 metres), is nearby. If there is enough snow, you can even go skiing there. But the main reason for holidaying here is the peace and nature.
