Enjoy the serene views from anywhere on the property, to water activates in the lake, or sit back and enjoy the 12-person hot tub on the oversized deck. This property offers something for everyone!
This beautiful spacious home is the perfect getaway for large families or groups needing extra space (Sleeps 16). When you arrive by boat this beautiful home will immediately catch your eye in this majestic setting where the forest meets the water. Once docked in front of the boathouse make your way up the ramp to your beautiful and relaxing retreat, you can't help but stop and look at the awe-inspiring view from the deck where you will bbq and share meals with friends and family. Open the front door to a grand entrance where you will enjoy the stone fireplace and a gourmet kitchen. You'll be warm and cozy in the living room in front of your stone fireplace with a big screen tv and four full size couches. The game room is just off the living room and doubles as your sixth bedroom and is equipped with a twin futon, a pull-out twin bed, a foosball table, an arcade game, and card table. When it's time to turn in, you have a beautiful master suite on the second level with a king bed and sitting area where you will enjoy morning coffee and a lake view. Next to the Master is the second bedroom with two queens and a full bed. Further down the hall is your third bedroom with a queen bed and private balcony, between bedroom two and three is a loft with couches, tv, and a shared bathroom. The fourth bedroom is back down stairs on the main level with a queen bed next to the fifth bedroom with two twin beds, both having private entrances and a shared bathroom. This room also offers a private or shared bathroom if you choose to close off one door. The expansive floor plan and private setting is sure to please the entire family.
Tenmile Lake is the largest and southernmost of a chain of lakes along the Oregon Coast south of the Umpqua River in the United States. The chain includes North Tenmile, Eel, Clear, and smaller lakes, which drain into the Pacific Ocean via Tenmile Creek. The lake is 8 miles south of Reedsport and 0.5 miles east of U.S. Route 101 near the community of Lakeside.
Tenmile Lake and North Tenmile Lake combined have been called "a premier largemouth bass fishery. In addition to largemouth bass, the shallow dendritic lakes with their complicated shorelines support populations of brown bullhead, bluegill, black crappie, coastal cutthroat trout, and stocked rainbow trout. Bass-catching tournaments are common at these lakes, and experts are able to catch 20 to 50 largemouth a day that weigh 2 to 5 pounds.
The two lakes, connected by the North Lake Canal, are used for boating, waterskiing, and swimming, as well as fishing. In Lakeside, near the outlet of Tenmile Lake, Coos County manages Tenmile Lakes Park. It has boat ramps, docks, a fish-cleaning stand, picnic tables, horseshoe courts, restrooms, and other amenities.
Property is equipped with cameras on the external for security purposes. However, there are no cameras on the inside of the house.

If Renting a Boat:
Rent a boat at Lakeside Marina. Lakeside Marina provides different sized boats and cost will be determined based on boat selected. Contact the marina directly or go to their website to view options and pricing. Please arrive early enough to unload and be ready to disembark from marina to the cabin, which is about 5 minutes from the marina, prior to dark. The lake gets rather dark at night. Park your car inside the gate at the marina. Parking is first come, so if parking is full then you'll need to park outside their gate on the street. If your party has more than 1 car then all other cars need to be parked on the street outside their gate. We've parked our own cars on the street in Lakeside numerous times without any issues. Boat will need to be moored on the outside of the boat houses.
If arriving via Lake Taxi:
Lakeside Marina also provides a lake taxi service. Call the marina for current pricing. Reservations must be made with the marina directly and we encourage your reservation be made once the cabin reservation is confirmed. This way you'll be sure to be on their schedule. Be sure and arrive with plenty of time to unload and load the taxi as the lake taxi only operates from dusk till dawn. Park your car inside the gate, parking is first come, so if parking is full then you'll need to park outside their gate on the street. If your party has more than 1 car then all other cars need to be parked on the street outside their gate. We've parked our own cars on the street in Lakeside numerous times without any issues.
If bringing your own boat:
You can use the County Park in lakeside to launch your boat. You can also park your vehicle within the County Park for a small fee. Be sure to arrive with plenty of time to unload and arrive at the cabin prior to dark. The lake gets rather dark at night. Moor your boat on the outside of the boathouse.
