The Space:
Pyrenees Views by Tiny Away sits in the historic town Avoca, just 19 minutes from the large service town of Maryborough. Avoca boasts a vibrant arts scene, historical sites, and beautiful parks, just an hour's drive from the lively towns of Bendigo, Ballarat, and Castlemaine.

What’s more, Avoca’s holiday homes offer breathtaking rural views and a variety of birdlife, including eagles, hawks, magpies, owls, and more. At night, you might also spot possums, rabbits, hares, and the occasional kangaroo.

The 139-square-foot tiny house sits near a beautiful old ash tree, providing shade during the warmer months. It features convenient access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our property is home to sheep that move freely and may be seen grazing in different areas. For light sleepers, we recommend bringing earplugs for a peaceful and restful stay.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surroundings. Moreover, we kindly ask guests to avoid crossing the fence into the residential section of the property.

Getting Around:
By car:

- 31 mins drive from Clunes
- 51 mins drive from Ballarat
- 2 hrs, 7 mins from Melbourne
- 1 hr, 10 mins drive from Bendigo
- 19 mins drive from Maryborough

By public transport:

There is no taxi service in the area that I know of, and unfortunately Avoca does not have regular public transport. The closest town that has regular public transport is Maryborough , which is 20 minutes away.

Other Things to Note:
- Charcoal BBQ Grill is available
- Breakfast is available for an extra cost
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please dispose of your cigarette butts properly
- No open fires and BBQ grills allowed during fire season
- Telstra has a good signal, while the rest have weak signals
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home, except outdoors
- We also provide outdoor tables and chairs and two tree hammocks
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.

Farm guidelines

- Please be advised that we have sheep (and noise) on our property
- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
