Located in one of the most picturesque area of the Provence, a stone’s throw from the charming village of Tourtour, you will find this beautiful Neo-Provencal villa.

A total of 10 people can stay at the villa, of which 8 adults and 2 children, divided over the main building (6 adults) and the annex (2 adults and 2 children).

The house was recently completely renovated and has a very pleasant outdoor environment with a beautiful swimming pool of 9 by 4 meters, a covered terrace with a long wooden dining table and gas BBQ, a jeu de boules area and table tennis.

The winding road up to the village of Tourtour, with beautiful far views over the green region, puts you in the right holiday mood. Here you can enjoy pure authenticity. Via a side road you arrive at the villa, which is located on a plot of more than 10 hectares of private land. You can take long walks or children can play freely and enjoy the peace.

By the driveway up you reach the villa, oriented to the south. There is sufficient parking space for all vehicles, including loading and unloading directly at room level. The cozy outdoor environment immediately catches the eye. A beautifully landscaped garden with many different Mediterranean plants and flowers surrounds a lawn and the beautiful swimming pool. The pool measures 9m by 4m and is 1.5m deep over its entire length, with walk-in steps to facilitate that access. You will find comfortable sun loungers all around and shade under the wooden terrace cover at the main house. There is also a nice wooden lounge set, ideal for having a drink together. Next to it there is a beautifully maintained jeu de boules area and next to the main house an extension of the terrace where you can play table tennis.

And then we haven’t even mentioned the covered terrace at the annex. An authentic wooden table welcomes your entire group for a cozy meal, under atmospheric lighting for the evening.

We first enter the main building. You enter directly from the garden into a large living room with on one side a sitting area with a comfortable sofa, television and wood stove (possibly for the colder evenings in spring and autumn) and on the other side a spacious dining table from which a connection is made with the open kitchen. Cooking becomes a pleasure by working together at the wooden bar with high chairs and enjoying some tasty snacks. The kitchen itself is equipped with all the necessities of a spacious refrigerator and underlying freezer, a ceramic stove with 4 burners, an oven and microwave, dishwasher and all kinds of smaller electrical appliances. You will not lack anything.

From the living room, with a toilet and a storage/laundry room next to the stairs, you go to the first floor. This brings us to the level of the front door that opens onto the driveway behind the house. Ideal for unloading luggage directly to the bedrooms. The first floor consists of 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a shared bathroom. The blue bedroom is very spacious and opens onto a part of the upper terrace with a sliding door. All rooms have sufficient cupboard space and a beautiful contemporary interior style. The shared bathroom consists of a double sink and a large walk-in shower. You will find a separate toilet in the hallway.

The main building is equipped with one central air conditioning element that cools the upper and lower floor.

The annex is located next to the main house and is divided of the main house by a outdoor staircase to the higher driveway. It consists of a large bedroom with a double bed, closet space, television and an adjoining bathroom with a single sink, toilet and shower. From the bedroom a wooden staircase takes you to an open upstairs space. The upstairs area has been made safe for children. Additional wooden cross planks prevent the risk of falling (not yet visible in the photo). There are 2 single beds, each of which has now been given a bed structure. There is no air conditioning in the studio, but it can be ventilated easily.

Villa La Source is located along a small rural road with no passing traffic. From here you can easily reach the center of Tourtour, also on foot because it is only a 1 km walk. In the center of Tourtour, known as one of the most beautiful villages in Provence, you will find a local bakery, local shops and nice restaurants.

Ideal day trips are the enormous nature reserve of the Verdon and Le Lac de Sainte-Croix. In addition to admiring this natural phenomenon, it also offers many sports options, such as kayaking, pedalo, hiking…More to the south of the village of Tourtour, there are other interesting villages to visit, such as Lorgues, Cotignac, Salernes…

If you prefer a day at the sea, you can reach Sainte-Maxime in one hour’s drive.

The cleaning of the house is mandatory and is € 150 per stay (this is NOT yet included in the rental price!)
Bed linen ( € 12,50 p.p.) and (bath)towels (€ 12,50 p.p.) are not included but available on request.
Pets are allowed on request at a reservation cost of €30 per dog per stay

Pool heating is available on request in the months April, May, June, Septembre at the price of € 100 per week. If you wish to make use of this, this must be transferred to the rental agency by bank transfer before arrival. You can contact the rental agency directly after booking to add this to your reservation.
