You can enjoy peace and quiet except for the lull of the river. It's about 15 minutes to Ruch where there is a market and a couple of restaurants, then another 10 minutes to Jacksonville where there are endless things to do.
You can fall asleep to the sound of the river in both upstairs bedrooms. This bedroom has a king bed and a trundle with two twin beds, all of which have comfortable memory foam mattresses. The large second bedroom, The Oakview Room, has a queen bed with a downstream view of the river through the oaks.
