Mountain Gem is located on a peaceful cul-de-sac approximately 1 mile from the resort entrance, and 1 mile from Wintergreen Resort’s Mountain Village. For nature-lovers, hiking and bird-watching are practically outside your front door on Fortunes Ridge Trail. Ski slopes are just minutes away, as are fishing, golf, wineries, breweries, cideries, farmers’ markets, antique stores, bakeries, and restaurants!

The main floor incorporates a newly renovated great-room concept. The modern, airy kitchen is stocked with all utensils, dishes, and glassware, and includes a welcoming sit-at counter and wine fridge. The dining area features a 6-person table with endless mountain views. An intimate sitting area is nestled around the chic linear electric fireplace, adding warmth and glamour to the gathering space. A large flatscreen TV rounds out the great room, or if you prefer use your favorite online streaming service with our GIG internet. The first-floor main bedroom has a plush king bed, where you can linger with morning coffee to experience the emerging early mountain vistas. A full bath completes the main floor, as well as a new washer/dryer.

Upstairs you will find a cozy sitting area for reading, family game time, or TV watching. A full bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms round out the second floor: a well-appointed queen bedroom with convenient lamps for reading in bed, and a stylish twin bedroom with lovely pastoral views.

Minimum rental age is 25.

Pets:
Limit of 2 dogs up to 50 lbs. that are well trained and housebroken. We just ask that you please pick up after them and do not allow them to chew on the furniture. Also, per HOA requirements pets must be on a leash when outside. There is a one-time pet fee of $75 per stay. The property has outdoor security cameras.

Amenities:
We provide toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. “THINK OF THESE AS STARTER KIT ITEMS” You may want to bring extra. We also provide coffee, creamer, sugar / sugar substitute, dishwasher packets, laundry packets and hand soap. We maintain a selection of commonly used spices and California olive oil. We also provide 1 towel and wash cloth per guest mentioned on your reservation when you booked; hand towels will be provided as well.

TV / Internet
Fiber internet service with full GIG speed (both download and upload). Both TVs are Amazon firestick enabled devices. If you prefer to watch one of your favorite streaming services, you can easily cast / install the service on either TV. Note – Please remember to logout before you depart.

Entry:
There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. The entry code will be provided prior to your arrival.

Parking:
There is plenty of parking space on the driveway for 3+ cars.

Beds:
1st floor bedroom has a king bed.
2nd floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the second with two twin beds

Kitchen:
Newly equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Includes all Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/Utensils/wine glasses.

Security:
The home has two exterior security cameras: one mounted on the front porch covering the front walkway, and a second mounted on the back of the house to cover the deck area. There are NO security cameras inside the property.

There is 1 step from the parking space to the home. There are stairs up to the 2nd floor of the home. NO elevator.
